This tool assesses and monitors changes in the internal situation of an organisation by taking in account 7 elements which need to stay aligned.


  • Strategy, Structure and Systems are hard elements.
  • Shared Values, Skills, Style and Staff are soft elements.

• The Balanced Business Scorecard

The BBS captures both financial and non-financial components of a strategy like customers needs, learning and growth of the organisation which could enhance competition effectiveness, internal business processes that need to be improved.


• Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

CSFs are critical goals that must be reached whereas KPIs are the SMART measures that shows whether or not it has been progressed.
